Love takes time. It needs a history of giving and receiving, laughing and crying.

Compliment your spouse everyday in front of the children. Take time to enjoy each other. You are their model for a successful future family life.

Love realizes and accepts there will be disagreements and disturbing emotions. There may be times when miles lay between, but love is commitment. It believes. It endures all things.

"When you step to the edge of light you have known, and are about to step out into darkness, faith is knowing one of two things will happen; there will be something to stand on or you will be taught to fly."

Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach
